The University of Toronto is a public research University which was founded by the royal charter in 1827 as a King's College. This University is located at the Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is situated at the Queen's Park. University of Toronto is controlled by Church of England.This University is also the collegiate University. There are twelve colleges. The two satellite campuses which are located at Mississauga and Scarborough.The motto of this University is Velut arbor aevo which is the Latin word. In English it means As a tree through the ages.
The total Endowment of C$2.142 billion which has got the 2.547 Academic staffs and 4,590 Administrative staffs. Similarly, The Total Undergraduates of 42,700 and 15,586 post graduates. The area of the campus is 71 hectares or 180 acres.The University's main undergraduate faculty is the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. This univesity is very popular in the literary criticism, communication theory and school of thought.
