About University of Tokyo
The current president of the university is Makoto Gonokami managing academic staffs (2429 full time and 175 part time staffs), while 5779 administrative staffs. This university has been a teaching centre for 28697 pupils including 14274 undergraduates, 13732 post graduates, 747 research students and 13732 doctoral students. It ranked 1st in Asia and 20th in the world universities for its better performance.The acceptance rate is 34.2% and the total students enrolled at 2015 was 27955.

There are five campuses in University of Tokyo. Hongo Campus is one the finest campus among them, it is best landmark place of the university. Komamba campus is the college of arts and science. This is the center for undergraduates and is at excellence state for areas of research. The Shirokanedai Campus is smaller in comparison to others which hosts Institute of Medical Science. Kashiwa Campus is the graduate school of Frontier Science. It is made from Trans-disciplinary sciences, Bio-sciences, environmental sciences and Computational Biology. And at last, Nakano Campus is the home of two undergraduate schools: first the School of Global Japanese Studies and the School of Interdisciplinary Mathematical Sciences.
