The Hong Kong University of Sciences and Technology in short HKUST is a public as well as the research University which is located at the Clear Water Bay Peninsula, Hon Kong. This University was established in 1991.This University consists of the four disciplinary schools. These schools provides the degree in different sectors such as engineering, science and humanities, business and management, social science. This university promotes technology transfer and commercialization. Hong Kong University of Science and Technology ranked as one of the 3rd higher institutions in Hong Kong.

The establishment date of this university was 1991 which lies under the eight statutory universities in Hong Kong.

Campus Facilities

The campus is situated at the northern part of the Clear Water Bay occupying 60 hectare.The campus also provides the indoor and outdoor sports facilities, staff quarters, president's lodge, students hall of residence, the University center, etc. The academy contains of 10 lecture theaters which can carry up to 450 students and provide audiovisual classes. It also has multitude classrooms, canteens, banks, bookstore, supermarket, laboratories, and administrative offices, an information center and a souvenir shop. The library is situated at the core part of university. It can occupy 3674 students at a time providing wide information resources, over 720,000 prints and electronic volumes and huge collection of media, enormous e-book facilities, databases, and digital information.

Hong Kong  University of Science and Technology is blessed with heath facilities which lies next to Sports Hall Entrance. It has medical clinic, student and staff dental clinics. The medical clinic provides facilities to all out-patient students and staffs and is specialized in Allergy, ENT, Obstetrics, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Pulmnology, Surgery, Internal medicine, Dermatology, Physiotherapy

etc.
